Great lens, March, 5 2008

Used it for an architecture assignment. Great lens, very sharp, excellent built, superb contrast and color. A bit of chromatic aberration in the corners in high contrast areas when shooting wide open - but given its immense angle of view, that is to be expected and forgiven. Easy to correct in ACR in most cases.

The rental itself went smoothly - arrived on time in a weather proof case that looked like it could survive a fire, float across the ocean, or be hit with a sledgehammer with no damage to the lens.
