3rd Rental, July, 19 2009
by Karen Lupton
I guess this is our third rental for this lens? I agree with everyone else here. This is SERIOUS glass. This lens is the reason that I would never switch to Nikon or Canon.

ProPhotoRental is top notch also. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Best lens I've ever used!, June, 8 2009
by Keith Edwards
Today has to be one of the saddest days in my photo-taking career, because I have to send this lens back!
Simply put, this lens makes you realize that Olympus has done it right from the beginning. It is truly an amazing piece of glass, and will do just about anything you want it to. From bright, vivid pictures in low light situations, to ultra-fast shutter speeds in normal lighting, this fast focusing lens will leave you speechless...
Once you get used to the weight, (a monopod or tripod will really help) there is nothing that can stop you from taking a nice, clear picture. The only problem I had with this lens is that I liked it so much, my wife is already sick of hearing me talk about how I'm going to buy one...=)
Overall, I am completely satisfied with this lens, and couldn't have asked for a better rental experience With ProPhoto. Thanks for everything!

Great Lens, February, 10 2009
by John Kuster
Used the lens to shoot an indoor auditorium event -- low light, everything at f/2.0. Lens was great all around.

My only complaint -- lens is a little on the heavy size, so had I been holding it for 3 hours...would have gotten a little old -- luckily, I used my monopod.

Enjoy!!
The best, August, 4 2008
by Konstantin Tovstiadi
Shot a wedding with it - did 95% of the event with it. Optically this lens is beyond critique. Flawless. The contrast, the color, the sharpness, the OOF blur are all simply superb. The only problem is having to return this lens.
Best Lens Period, February, 6 2008
by John Stankewitz
This is by far the best lens I have ever used! It is unreal how sharp this lens is wide open and the shutter speeds I was able to get (for indoor rodeo) with just ISO 2000 on the E-3. The quality of results will bring me back to this lens again. Still hoping Olympus puts it's new SWD motors in a new version though. Thanks for making the rental so easy P.P.R.
Excellent Piece of Glass, January, 31 2008
by Ryan Dykstra
I couldn't have asked for more with this lens. You thought shooting with a 2.8 was cool, try doing it with a 2.0! The bokeh is very smooth and super soft. I shot 100% of the time wide open for a cheer event and the results were crystal clear.

This lens will be rented again by me in the future until I can afford to purchase such a fine piece of Olympus glass. Best lens I've used hands down.
