Amazing Performance, April, 12 2010
by Ben Wilcox
I was hired to shoot a collegiate dodgeball tournament (unique, to say the least), and this ran like a champ with my E-30 body in the close quarters of a basketball court. The SWD focus system is amazing and made my other lenses seem painfully slow in contrast.

It is obviously a fairly heavy lens, and when I attached it to my E-410 body, it seemed a little awkward to hold, but performance was not affected. It was very comfortable with the E-30. Took team photos and individual shots with ease even in the awkward indoor florescent arena lighting. I would absolutely rent this again.
So glad I rented this Lens...., October, 26 2009

I used this lens to shoot a outdoor sunset wedding in Gilbert, AZ two weeks ago. I got the most amazing shots using this lens on my E-520. Great portrait and group shots that were super sharp. It was a joy shooting at f/2.0. I almost cried when I had to return this lens. If you get a chance to rent this lens...do not hesitate. I almost pass and I am so glad I didn't. What a joy!!!! Thanks ProPhotoRental for giving us Olympus users options.
Sharp enough to cut diamonds... wide open!, June, 13 2009

Wow... this is one of those lenses that will make you throw rocks at anything less than Olympus' SHG lens line. It is one of several reasons to be thankful you bought an Olympus camera. RENT THIS LENS!! It will change the way you view photography... I've used it on the E-1 and the E-3 and have been amazed by it. I would even go so far as to say it has increased my camera's dynamic range. A full stop brighter than anything the competition has and a lot sharper too. Here is a link to one of the images I shot with this lens this weekend at f/2.0....
