Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K Pro

This is a really nice update to an already solid camera, with some quality of life features that clearly make it the better choice between the two.

Firstly, Blackmagic Design went to work on the body, adding a tilting screen for improved viewing when the camera is set up for low- or high-angle shots. In addition, they stuffed some ND filters in (2, 4, and6 stop options), added one more mini-XLR audio input (total of 2 now), and an internal timecode clock that Blackmagic describes as "super accurate". We have no reason to believe otherwise.

In our opinion, the biggst and best change is the new power supply. The first generation camera was known to blow through batteries like a 7 year old sucks down a milkshake. But this version wisely changes to the larger capacity NP-F570 series batteries. Plus they've created (and we include as part of this kit) a battery grip which gives you two more battery slots, adding up to 3 hours to your shooting time! Highly needed, and highly appreciated.

The final change is an update to Gen 5 color science to blend seamlessly with other high-end cameras such as the Ursa Mini Pro 12K. Beyond that, all of the controls and hardware specs are going to be familiar and match the original body, including frame rates, resolution, dynamic range, and flexible gamma curve.
