Virtually no distortion, less chromatic aberration thanks to an Ultra-Low Dispersion element, improved edge-to-edge sharpness, faster autofocus, and a control ring to assign and adjust exposure settings from the lens. To be so technically adept, this lens is a bit of a chonker. Don’t be surprised when you compare the size to the EF version. We promise, it’s worth it.
