This teleconverter magnifies your image by 2x! You won’t lose any communication ability with the camera - so you can shoot without compromising any functionality. Even though you’re adding an extra piece between the lens and camera, the RF 2x Teleconverter is dust, water, and weather resistant.
We think it’s worth mentioning that adding an extender to your lens setup will also decrease your aperture speed by two stops. For example, the RF 800mm f/11 with the 2x extender will effectively become 1,600mm f/22.
