If you shoot Sony and you're looking to rent a speedlight with off-camera TTL control, you've found it. This kit combines a powerful V860-II flash unit with the X-Pro wireless TTL controller for incredible flexibility and tons of options for lighting your next shoot. Want to shoot with just the speedlight? No problem. Mount it to your camera and go. Need off-camera flash for a special effect? This can do it. Simply mount the controller on your hotshoe and put the speedlight anywhere up to 300' away. The flash has a tilt & swivel head for bouncing, and when paired with the X-Pro controller, you also get the ability to shoot high speed sync (HSS) up to 1/8000 second.
Note that the speedlight itself is powered by a proprietary Li-Ion battery that gives you super fast 1.5 second recycle time and about 600 full-power flashes. The TTL controller is powered by 2 AA batteries. We think this solution is great, as it gives you WAY more flashes than standard batteries. However, once it is dead, it is dead, so keep that in mind if for some reason 600 pops isn't enough for your application.
