Rent a 60" Octagonal Softbox with Grid

This 5 foot 8-sided softbox is an excellent light modifier for both strobes as well as video lights due to its heavy-duty construction. Seriously, this softbox makes some of the offerings from the big-boy name brands seem like amateur hour.

The ribs (aka "stays") of the box are super beefy and well made. And the fabric is literally the best we've ever felt on any softbox from any manufacturer. Thick but supple. Heavy duty but easy to use. It sounds incredibly silly to go on and on about such things, but this is exactly the kind of thing that sets brands apart from each other and makes your life so much easier on set. IYKYK.

As with any octabank, the shape of this modifier will create a nice familiar-looking round catchlight in your subject's eyes, and the size of the box allows you to get incredible soft light over a large area.

This rental kit includes the outer fabric shell with the aforementioned ribs, an inner diffuser (remove for use with hot lights), an outer diffuser, and a grid.  We also give you your choice of a speedring, in either Bowens/Aputure or Profoto mounts.

The grid is officially 40 degrees, but our measurements put it closer to the traditional 50 degrees that is most commonly found on the market.
