Sony a7 IV Camera Body

Rent this fourth generation of Sony's a7 camera to get some incredible features and technology packed into a very affordable body, offering a compelling choice for both photo and video users.

Photographers get 33 Megapixels of BSI full-frame goodness, with all the low noise and accurate color rendering that that technology is known for. You also get a healthy 10 fps burst rate and a new AI-Based Autofocus system that covers ~94% of the image area. This Fast Hybrid AF system incorporates 759 phase-detection points for quick and precise focusing in a variety of lighting conditions with sensitivity down to -4 EV.

On the video side of things, you get 4K 60p recording with no time limits, 10-bit 4:2:2 recording, and all of the latest Sony color and gamma profiles: S-Cinetone, HLG, and S-Log3. They also spec'd a full-size HDMI port for more secure video output (hallelujah!). If you need a webcam, you can simply connect this body to your computer via USB and you're all set. No need for a conversion card.

Last but not least, Sony has improved the 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE stabilization to unbelivable levels. Not only do you get the standard up/down correction, but it corrects for yaw and pitch with telephoto lenses AND can correct for horizontal & vertical shifts during macro shooting. That's a first as far as we're aware, and is a *killer* feature. Oh yeah, all of that correction works with any lens (even third-party offerings and adapted lenses). Crazy good stuff there.
